NOTICE FOR THE A. Y. 2013-14 

 

           Applications are invited from eligible candidates for B. Pharm, D. Pharm & M. Pharm Ist Year (Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Chemistry) against seats remaining vacant after completion of centralized admission process by DTE or vacancy arising due to cancellation or nonreporting of candidates & institute level quota. The vacancy status will be displayed at institute notice board & Website.

Application form & brochure are available in the college office during working hrs from 9 am to 5 pm. Incomplete admission forms will not be valid. Fees as approved by the SSS, Mumbai. Admission will be as per the norms & procedure prescribed by the Govt. of Maharashtra & DTE.

  Rules of Admission through Centralized Admission Process (CAP)

Candidates seeking admission to Pharmacy courses are required to appear for MHT?CET conducted by the respective Competent Authority. Competent Authority shall conduct total Three rounds of Centralized Admission. The CAP shall consist of first two (2) rounds of Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates (both Maharashtra and OMS) will fill separate/fresh Online Option forms for each round. Third round of CAP shall be conducted by way ofcounseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.

The candidate should have taken admission by paying necessary tuition fee and should have submitted original certificates before he/she applies for cancellation. In case candidate fails to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit, the admission shall be treated as cancelled.

The candidate desirous of canceling admission shall apply for cancellation in the pro forma O only and should take the online receipt of the cancellation. It is mandatory to the Principal/Director of the Institution to cancel the admission of the candidate only through online system and issue the receipt of cancellation to the candidate.

Issue of College Leaving Certificate:

a) If during the course of studies, candidate desires to discontinue studies for any reason whatsoever, he or she shall be allowed to do so and it shall be presumed that he or she has cancelled admission at that stage. The Principal shall issue College Leaving Certificate and fees shall be refunded as per the rules mentioned.

b) If the admission is cancelled on or before 20 days from the last date of reporting of each CAP round, the original school or college leaving certificate on the strength of which a candidate was admitted shall be returned.

c)If the admission is cancelled after 20 days from the last date of reporting after each round of CAP, the leaving certificate from the institution where the candidate was finally admitted Should be issued. A true copy of the original school or college leaving certificate retained by the institute may be issued, if requested by the candidate, duly attested by the Head of the Institute.

Reservations policy:

All the reservations given below shall be applicable to candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by respective authorities from time to time. Reservation for backward category, physically handicapped (3%), son/ daughters of defenseservice personnel & female will be according to Maharashtra State Government norms.

Refund of Fees:

The fees paid by the candidate after cancellation of admission will be refunded as per rules of DTE & University given in Pharmacy CAP Brochure.

No Capitation fees are collected at this institution by adhering to the Anti Capitation Act.
